Lead Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer with extensive and solid hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Java or Scala, automated testing frameworks, REST APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React. You will work in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions.

About the Role

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers.
  • Implement automated testing as an integrated part of delivery.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and S3.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ensure application security and data protection.

About You

You are a good fit for the Lead Full Stack Developer role if you meet the following requirements:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development.
  • Strong knowledge of Angular or ReactJS for frontend development.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ.
  • Full professional English and Swedish language skills

Employment Type

This is a hybrid position. We apply a policy requiring at least three working days per week in the office.

Om rollen

Som Lead Full Stack Developer kommer du att:

  • Designa, utveckla och förvalta heltäckande webbapplikationer med Java och moderna frontendramverk.
  • Utveckla RESTful API:er och mikrotjänster.
  • Samarbeta med UI/UX-designers och backendutvecklare.
  • Implementera automatiserade tester som en integrerad del av leveransen.
  • Delta i Agile/Scrum-ceremonier och bidra till sprintplanering, granskningar och retrospektiv.
  • Integrera med relationsdatabaser och NoSQL-databaser såsom PostgreSQL och S3.
  • Leda kodgranskningar, coacha juniora utvecklare och säkerställa att kodstandarder följs.

Om dig

Du passar för rollen som Lead Full Stack Developer om du uppfyller följande krav:
