Position Summary:   

 

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions within our cloud ecosystem. This role serves as the link between business strategy and technology execution, demanding strong technical expertise across diverse technologies. 

 

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective architectural designs. As a key technical leader, you will mentor engineering teams, define system architecture, and ensure our technology roadmap supports sustainable business growth and success. 

 

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the design and architecture of cloud-native solutions that align with business objectives and user needs. 
  • Partner with business units, product managers, UX teams, and engineering to define end-to-end solutions that balance functionality, scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. 

  • Act as the architectural owner across application layers—UI, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure, doing code review. 

  • Guide the integration of AI/ML, data engineering, and operational workflows into cohesive business solutions. 

  • Exposure to or knowledge of BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableau. 

  • Produce clear architectural documentation, solution proposals, and system blueprints to drive implementation. 

  • Uphold enterprise standards for security, performance, and maintainability. 

  • Provide leadership during system troubleshooting and contribute to incident resolution with a holistic architectural perspective. 

  • Support strategic planning, technical roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with business growth. 

  • May train and mentor junior team members and peers alike. 

 

Position Requirements:  

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum 8+ years in project lifecycle, with at least 3 years focused on architecture or technical design. 
  • Framework & development experience - Strong technical foundation in    Node.js / Express / NestJS (JavaScript / TypeScript), Angular and modern full stack experience. .NET (C#) is an added advantage. 
  • CI/CD / DevOps - Exposure to GitHub Actions/Team City /Jenkins. 
  • Cloud platform & Infrastructure - Experience on Cloud platform Infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and Container orchestration (Dockers and/or Kubernetes). 
  • Observability - Exposure to / knowledge of Performance monitoring tools like Splunk or Grafana.           
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization – Exposure to Optimizing system performance, ability to diagnose and address bottlenecks and be able to troubleshoot complex systems. 
  • Familiarity with data architecture, quality, and governance best practices. 
  • Business alignment and stakeholder communication - Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders. 
  • Leadership and Mentorship – Effectiveness in guiding teams, promoting best practices, mentoring developers and leading continuous improvement activities. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS) are a plus. 
  • Ability to apply advanced wide-ranging experience and professional knowledge to provide solutions in creative and effective ways. 
  • Experience directing the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas, with good understanding of the interrelationships of different disciplines. 
  • Ability to work on complex assignments where problem solving requires in-depth evaluation of varying factors and practices/procedures must be determined. 
  • Ability to enhance internal and external working relationships and networks with key contacts outside area of expertise and adapt to differing audiences to provide advice on complex matters that relate to the wider business and require persuasion.
