Job Title: Staff Product Manager
Locations: Bangalore (3 days a week work from Conga office)

A Quick Snapshot
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager who will drive strategic vision and execution for Discovery Agent's evolution from template-based extraction to autonomous, agentic AI capabilities. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical expertise in AI/ML products, contract domain knowledge, and the ability to influence across the organization. You'll own multi-quarter product strategy, define breakthrough capabilities like Zero-Touch Setup, architect agent orchestration frameworks, and mentor other product managers while working directly with our most strategic enterprise customers.
About Discovery Agent
Discovery Agent is Conga's AI-powered solution that transforms how enterprises extract, analyse, and manage contract data. Part of a three-agent architecture (Discovery Agent, Search Agent, and Redline Agent), Discovery Agent serves Fortune 500 customers, reducing contract implementation time through intelligent automation and agentic AI capabilities.
Why It's a Big Deal
A Staff PM will play a critical role in shaping Discovery Agent ahead of competitors. It will directly impact Conga's strategic initiatives and set industry standards for AI-powered contract management.
Are You the Person We're Looking For?
Related Experience: You must have more than 8 years of experience in Product management with 5+ years in enterprise AI/ML products or intelligent automation platforms.
0 to 1 product Initiatives. You are good in leading 0-to-1 product initiatives in AI/ML, particularly in document intelligence, contract analytics, or enterprise automation
AI/ML & Agentic Systems Expertise. You have a good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and agent architectures. You also have knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, including tool calling, conditional logic, and agent collaboration patterns
AI Implementation challenges. You know how to deal with the AI implementation challenges at enterprise scale - latency, accuracy, cost optimization, and hallucination mitigation. You are familiar with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and vector databases. You understand the model fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and AI performance metrics
Design Patterns and MCP. You have good knowledge of agentic design patterns: autonomous decision-making, tool use, self-configuration, and adaptive behaviours. You have good understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent communication frameworks
Mentor and Strategy. You have good experience of mentoring and developing product managers, setting product standards across teams and a proven track record of defining and executing multi-quarter product strategies that drove significant revenue or market differentiation.
Customer & Stakeholder Excellence. You are exceptional executive presence with Fortune 500 customers and internal C-suite stakeholders. You show a proven ability to run discovery sessions that uncover deep customer problems and quantify business impact
Enterprise Product Expertise. You are a subject matter expert on enterprise AI product implementation and deployment and expertise with customer implementation strategies that reduce time-to-value from months to weeks.
Configuration vs. customization. You also have a deep understanding of configuration vs. customization trade-offs in enterprise software. You have proven ability to design self-service and low-touch setup experiences for complex AI systems
Here's What Will Give You an Edge
AI/ML & Agentic Systems Expertise. You have good familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and vector databases. You are good in understanding model fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and AI performance metrics
Product Craft & Execution. You have mastery of product discovery techniques: jobs-to-be-done, outcome-driven innovation, continuous discovery habits. You are expert at writing detailed PRDs with clear success criteria, technical architecture, and launch strategies
Product Sense. You have strong product sense for AI UX/UI, conversational interfaces, trust indicators, explainability, and error handling. You are able to make hard trade-off decisions between accuracy, latency, cost, and user experience. You are also skilled at defining product roadmaps that balance innovation, technical debt, and customer commitments
Product Training. You have experience creating and delivering product training for sales teams, partners, and customer-facing teams.
Good to have. It is good if you have knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM) workflows and pain points, deep understanding of contract data extraction challenges: clause identification, obligation tracking, metadata extraction, and relationship mapping and familiarity with legal and compliance requirements for Enterprise CLM
Architecture. It is good if you have strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and data pipeline architectures. You are good in understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture and enterprise security/compliance requirements
