USC's Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is accepting applications for a Part-time Staff Pharmacist engaged in patient care, clinical service, medication distribution and on-site teaching responsibilities. The position requires the applicant to provide patient care at the USC Pharmacy and Wellness Center in South Los Angeles. The candidate will precept students in community pharmacy practice, disease screening and prevention, and medication therapy management. Service requirements to include medication dispensing, counseling of patients, acting as a resource to patients and other health care providers, and operations and record keeping within the pharmacy. Additional activities to include coordinating the delivery of care with the associated on-site clinic.
The Staff Pharmacist position requires an individual with a Doctorate in Pharmacy degree with licensure to practice in California
Minimum Qualifications
Pharm.D License in California
1 year of community pharmacy experience
Preferred Qualifications
PGY-1 Residency
Clinical Pharmacy experience
The hourly range for this position is $72.00 - $80.00.
