About the Role
Staff Forward Deployed Engineers are hands-on technical advisors and developers who co-create intelligent, data-driven agents with customers. These agents are deeply embedded into customer workflows, extending Reltio’s platform into dynamic, event-driven, decision-making systems. Staff FDEs work across functional boundaries—collaborating with customer architects, data stewards, and business users—to design and deploy high-value, production-grade solutions. In doing so, they provide direct, field-driven feedback to Reltio’s Product and Engineering teams to accelerate roadmap relevance, improve usability, and de-risk delivery.
Staff FDEs focus on proving business value early through minimal viable products (MVPs) and proof-of-concept (POC) implementations, then scale those solutions into resilient, product-grade deployments. They balance long-term architectural guidance with pragmatic, hands-on development and delivery, using telemetry and continuous feedback to optimize agent performance over time. Acting as translators between IT, data teams, and business stakeholders, Staff FDEs understand the semantics of data, the logic of systems, and the dynamics of decision-making, enabling customers to realize Reltio as not just a system of record but a system of intelligence.

Align agent design to SLAs, fallback logic, and business rules.
Proof of Concept (POC) Development and Requirement Validation
Rapidly prototype agentic flows to validate technical feasibility and business value.
Run iterative experiments to refine requirements and secure stakeholder buy-in.
Signal Integration and Semantic Expansion
Ensure agents are reading the correct signals (e.g., data anomalies, business triggers).
Collaborate with semantic architects to evolve models that support agent reasoning.
Identify missing telemetry and work with engineering to close feedback gaps.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
Monitor agent telemetry: activation rates, precision, false positives, and overrides.
Tune workflows continuously to optimize accuracy and business value.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend workflow or model improvements.
Customer Co-Creation and Roadmap Influence
Act as a strategic automation advisor for the customer’s data and operations leaders.
Identify repeatable agentic use cases and help templatize workflows.
