Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Staff Systems Engineer/Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
The E-130J TACAMO program requires a Staff/Staff System Engineer/Architect to assume a lead role on the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team. This need has been created due to attrition from the employee currently in this role has noticed their plans for retirement. The need for this role was originally created during the TACAMO capture and has continued to become even more critical during execution. The role requires MBSE practices for cross-IPT collaboration within the company as well as with the customer and sub-contractors.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 12 years engineering related experience, OR Master’s in STEM with 10 years of experience OR Doctor's in STEM with 8 years of experience
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. (Interim required to start)
• Experience with Cameo Magic Draw or another MBSE tool such as Rhapsody, Sparx EA, and Enterprise Architect
• Expert in Model Based Systems Engineering and Architecture Development
• Extensive experience with SysML development
• Expert in requirement management, and diagram development within CAMEO
