About the Role
As a Staff Engineer, Software, you will be instrumental in the technical evolution of the Nautilus™ Laboratory Informatics Platform. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to successfully implement innovative technologies while ensuring that we meet our customers' ambitious needs for scalability, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Involved in all phases of the software development cycle, from building to implementation and unit testing.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver flawless software products according to schedules and specifications.
- Build essential documentation such as specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, and review meetings.
- Address and fix support calls promptly.
Requirement and Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience developing technical specifications based on customer requirements
- Proficiency in .NET (C#)
- Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with code version control tools (preferably Git)
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in Spanish and English
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under time-sensitive conditions
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of C++
- Experience with Azure DevOps and SharePoint
- Familiarity with writing code alongside automated tests
