Job / Role Summary
The Staff Engineer leads module‑level photolithography process development for advanced NAND technology nodes. This role owns process robustness, manufacturability, and readiness for technology transfer. Success requires strong technical depth, execution leadership, and the ability to translate device requirements into reliable, scalable process solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Lead development, optimization, and troubleshooting of photolithography processes to meet yield, quality, and performance requirements.
Translate device and integration requirements into robust process flows, specifications, and control strategies.
Perform and own material evaluations, OPC/layout development, process window analysis, and overlay optimization.
Design and implement advanced process control methodologies using SPC, DOE, and lithography simulation tools.
Own delivery of defined photolithography process milestones from development through transfer readiness.
Partner with global R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure effective technology transfer.
Other Responsibilities
Work with equipment and materials suppliers to evaluate new capabilities and improvements.
Contribute to invention disclosures and technical documentation.
Integrates AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI‑enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
PhD ≥3 yrs, or Master’s ≥5 yrs, or Bachelor’s ≥7 yrs of relevant experience in
Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field, with demonstrated experience in semiconductor photolithography process development.
Must‑Have Technical Skills
Proven track record in contributing and accomplishing photolithography process & equipment roadmaps
Deep knowledge in optics, immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low k1 imaging
Proficiency in lithography simulation tools, material characterization, DOE, SPC, and basic statistical data analysis
