The Opportunity

We are building a first-of-its-kind consumer membership ecosystem from the ground up, and the data and identity layer is the spine that holds it all together. As our Staff Engineer / Architect for Data & Identity, you will architect the central platform that every product, partner integration, and AI system at Beast Industries runs on top of. There is no legacy CRM, no tangled data warehouse, no inherited compliance debt — just a zero-to-one build where you get to design it right the first time, at 100M+ user scale.

This is an anchor technical role. You'll set architecture, write code, and define the standards that the rest of the engineering org builds against.

The Product

You will architect the core platform underneath a membership and advertising ecosystem anchored around the MrBeast audience — one that spans all of our consumer and partner touchpoints. Your surface area includes:

• Customer Data Management: A unified identity and customer data platform — profiles, auth, consent, CRM, and the event backbone — serving every product squad and downstream AI system.
• Compliance Management: Privacy, consent, and data-rights infrastructure built from day one across GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and the regimes that come with a global audience.
• Partnership Data Integration: Ingestion and processing for partner data flows — wired into a clean, governed data model.

What You'll Do

• Architect the central data and identity platform end-to-end: identity, profiles, events, consent, CRM, and the data model that every product at Beast runs on.
• Design and build the compliance foundation — consent management, data-rights workflows, retention, and auditability — so privacy and compliance ship as infrastructure, not afterthoughts.
• Own the partner data integration layer: ingestion, normalization, entitlement, and processing for telco perks, partner rewards, and marketplace counterparties.
• Partner across squads — membership app, marketplace, AI — to make sure every team is building on a shared, clean data spine rather than forking their own.
• Set the technical bar for data quality, latency, lineage, and security at consumer scale. Write the playbook the rest of the org builds against.
• Operate as a true zero-to-one architect — burning through tokens, using coding agents, and shipping production systems end-to-end rather than handing off diagrams.

Who You Are

• Platform Architect at Scale: You've architected and shipped identity, CDP, or core data platforms inside consumer products used by millions. You've owned the hard parts — schema evolution, event throughput, identity resolution — in production.
• Compliance-Fluent: You've built for GDPR, CCPA, and the global patchwork in real products, and you treat privacy and consent as architecture, not paperwork.
• AI-Native: You aren't just curious about AI; you are burning through tokens, using coding agents daily, and designing data systems with AI consumption as a first-class use case.
• Integration-Minded: You've wired up messy partner data flows — telco, payments, marketplace, ad-tech — and made them feel clean to the teams consuming them.
• Scrappy & Scaled: You have the startup experience to build from zero with a nimble team, plus the big-tech experience to know what breaks when a product hits massive scale.
• Action-Oriented: You thrive in ambiguity and prefer architecting-by-shipping over long design cycles. You write code, not just docs.
