Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

As a Staff Design Engineer in the Non-Volatile-Engineering NAND Flash design team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will contribute to the development of memory products that are best-in-class in terms of die size, performance, reliability, and power.

  • Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and validation of analog and mixed‑signal circuits used in NAND Flash. The role spans the complete design lifecycle.
  • Design and develop analog and mixed‑signal circuits such as Charge pumps, amplifiers, voltage regulators, data converters (ADC/DAC), bandgap references, sensor interfaces, and power management blocks.
  • Translate system‑level requirements into detailed circuit specifications, architectures, and schematics.
  • Perform transistor‑level design and optimization to meet performance, power, area, noise, and reliability targets.
  • Conduct circuit simulations (DC, AC, transient, noise, Monte Carlo, corners) to verify functionality and robustness across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
  • Take part in multi-functional key features evaluation.
  • Validate design performance and functionality by running block and chip level simulations using standard industry simulators, and create clear and effective documentation.
  • You will ensure integration quality by validation of parasitic effects
  • You may be coordinating these design efforts of a small team.
  • You will be working closely with other functional teams to evaluate, analyze, and improve NAND die size, performance and power consumption.
  • You will also work and support the efforts of groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing to proactively design products to optimize all manufacturing functions and assure the best cost, quality, root-cause analysis, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.
