Position Summary

The Contract Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end contract lifecycle. This role partners closely with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure contracts are structured appropriately, compliant with company policies, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct contract structures are used based on engagement type (e.g., consulting, staff augmentation, managed services).
  • Support intake, review, and approval processes for new and amended contracts.
  • Collaborate with Legal to address risk, compliance, and regulatory considerations.
  • Partner with Procurement and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial terms, scope, and deliverables.
  • Track contract status, renewals, expirations, and key obligations.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and metadata in contract management systems.
  • Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives related to contracting processes.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contracting standards, timelines, and requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, or legal operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a regulated or global environment.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
  • Experience partnering with Legal and Procurement teams.
  • Understanding of worker classification considerations (consulting vs. staff augmentation).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

The estimated base salary range for the Staff Contract Specialist role based in the United States of America is: $107,700 - $161,500. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
