Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Staff Business Data Architect to lead the design of scalable data solutions that drive business insights and innovation. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership to define data models, architect solutions, and enable advanced analytics and AI-driven decision-making.

Job Description

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data solutions.

  • Proven track record in designing and implementing data platforms on AWS.

  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven data solutions or analytics frameworks.

  • Certifications (preferred):

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty.

  • Certifications in AI/ML or Data Science (e.g., AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Azure AI Engineer).

Key Skillset:

Data Architecture & Modeling:

  • Expertise in scalable data architectures and conceptual/logical/physical data models.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

  • Cloud & Database Technologies:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (Athena, Glue, S3, Lambda).

  • Proficiency in Amazon Redshift for data warehousing and performance optimization.

Analytics & Visualization:

  • Advanced skills in Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.

  • Ability to integrate BI tools with cloud-based data sources.

  • Programming & Querying:

  • Strong SQL skills for complex queries and performance tuning.

  • Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages for data processing.

  • AI & Advanced Analytics:

  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in data architecture (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection).

  • Experience with integrating AI-driven insights into BI dashboards or data pipelines.

  • Familiarity with frameworks like AWS SageMaker, TensorFlow, or PyTorch (preferred).

Other Competencies:

Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data lake architecture, and big data concepts.

Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and documentation skills.
