Job Summary 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Business Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and data storytelling to join our growing team. This role will focus on analysing and enhancing business reporting processes, delivering key insights through dashboards and reports, and driving automation and efficiency across data operations. You will work with a team of analysts and operators responsible for end-to-end incident management and monitoring of the Streaming division’s technical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in As-Is / To-Be process mapping, experienced in working cross-functionally with stakeholders, and comfortable working with technical tools like DAX, SQL, and AWS. You’ll be the bridge between data systems and decision-makers, ensuring reporting is aligned with strategic business goals. A background in digital platforms or broadcasting is essential to understand the nuances of our ecosystem.

The position is primarily usual business hours Monday-Friday. However, due to the nature of our business and global staff locations, some weekend and later hours may be required. The role is based in our Chiswick, London office and requires 3 days a week on site.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Insights Development

  • Design, develop, and manage multiple Power BI dashboards to support business performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Liaise with the Director of Digital, Technical Program Manager and Database Administrator to reflect infrastructure or data architecture changes in reporting solutions.
  • Prepare and distribute Weekly and Quarterly Business Reports, drawing actionable insights from data trends.
  • Communicate report findings to stakeholders, including C-Suite leadership, and update dashboards based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Conduct As-Is / To-Be analysis to understand current business reporting workflows and identify areas for improvement or automation.
  • Document and evaluate internal reporting processes; propose solutions to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to develop and automate reports for key sporting events and digital initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to define reporting needs, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Translate business requirements into clear data specifications and reporting logic.
  • Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment.
  • Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring all solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and end-user needs.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on reporting, data, and process improvement.

Strong proficiency in:

  • Incident management SaaS products such PagerDuty & ServiceNow
  • Power BI (including DAX and data modelling)
  • SQL
  • VBA
  • MUX or similar Quality of Service tooling.
  • Datadog
  • AWS (data-related services)
  • Atlassian – Confluence & Jira - for project and issue tracking
  • Hands-on experience with As-Is / To-Be analysis, process documentation, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Experience working in digital platforms, media, or broadcasting environments, with an understanding of real-time data needs and event-driven reporting.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning.
  • Knowledge of data governance and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience with version control and deployment of BI assets.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
