As a Staff DRAM BIOS Firmware Engineer, you will use system and BIOS firmware as a hands‑on tool to enable, debug, and qualify Micron DRAM products. This role sits at the center of memory bring‑up, training, and validation on leading Intel, AMD, and ARM platforms. You will influence DRAM readiness, quality, and platform success from early silicon through customer enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable and debug DRAM initialization, training, and configuration using BIOS and system firmware
  • Develop and modify early boot firmware to support new DRAM products, features, and platforms
  • Analyze memory boot, stability, margin, and field issues using firmware‑based debug techniques
  • Partner with DRAM engineering, validation, quality, and platform teams to drive product readiness
  • Mentor engineers and improve firmware tools and debug processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in firmware, low‑level systems, or platform enablement
  • Experience developing UEFI BIOS firmware in C
  • Hands‑on experience with memory initialization, training, or bring‑up

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating and debugging Memory Reference Code on Intel, AMD, or ARM platforms
  • Strong understanding of CPU, memory controller, and DRAM interactions
  • Experience debugging real hardware issues involving memory boot or stability
  • Working knowledge of Python or assembly
