Job Description:
The Auditor is responsible for agent audits and recertifications in an assigned region in accordance with industry regulations and company requirements. This role ensures that agent operations, escrow processes, and underwriting practices align with the agent's contract and Agency Administration Manual.
*This position is remote, based in New England. Must be able to complete day travel throughout MA, CT, NH, VT, ME, and RI 25-30% of the time.
Position Description
Conduct agent audits of title and escrow operations, including file reviews, disbursement procedures, accounting controls, and underwriting practices.
Review all internal data for recertification of agents. Update the company database with assessment results.
Evaluate compliance with ALTA Best Practices, state regulations, and company policies.
Identify process inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and areas of potential risk.
Provide direction to agent to assist in putting appropriate plans in place to create or correct deficiencies found in the audit.
Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for process improvement and issue audit reports to agents and Management with the proper distribution lists.
Collaborate with the team to develop the audit schedule.
Stay current on changes in title insurance laws, escrow regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on outstanding issues when tasked.

Position's Pay Range:
$65K - $73KThis position is typically eligible for bonus-based incentive compensation, at the Company’s discretion.Benefits may include:
