We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Antenna Test Electronics Engineer (T5)/ Project Lead to support production and manufacturing operations at our Central Virginia manufacturing facilities.
What You'll Get To Do:
The Staff Antenna Test Electronics Engineer will lead cross-discipline engineering teams, typically greater than 5 engineers, across multiple projects related to antenna test equipment and antenna test facility projects. Projects are a mix of RF, electrical, and mechanical test equipment. Role will have project execution, schedule and financial responsibilities across 5-10 projects with varying degrees of complexity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of test equipment projects
Develop project execution plans and lead teams through weekly assignments
Develop and maintain project schedules
Develop, maintain and report project financial status
Interface with functional departments to secure team staffing
Work with suppliers and be able to articulate project requirements
Brief internal leadership on progress of work assigned
Perform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings.
The selected candidate should be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
This position is contingent upon proposal/task award.
Basic Qualifications Staff Antenna Test Electronics Engineer :
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field (EE Degree preferred) and a minimum of 12 years of related experience in Engineering or Test; candidates with a Master’s degree need a minimum of 10 years of related experience in Engineering or Test.
Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Engineering leadership experience in a team environment
Experience in development engineering of systems/products
Experience with the Design, Manufacturing or Test process
Experience developing and executing project schedules
Experience maintaining complex financial project budgets

Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
