The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Staff Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join the IAM/ Boeing Joint Programs organization in Seattle, Washington.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with the hourly International Association of Machinist (IAM) Employees to assist them in furthering their careers. This is a collaborative role that requires the ability to work with internal clients and colleagues on co-located process teams as well as colleges and vendors that provide training. The role requires a strong process focus, excellent communication and technical skills, and a compassionate humble approach, along with a working knowledge of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and IAM/Boeing Joint Programs Education Assistance program. 

In this role you will serve as a primary point of contact for employees and external customers on IAM/Boeing Joint Program Services such as Education Assistance and Safety Shoe Reimbursement Requests. Administer the Education Assistance Program by processing tuition vouchers, vendor payments, reimbursements, and complex inquires; coordinate supplier profile updates and project manage the new vendor requests with the team and Career Advisors.  Administer the IAM/Boeing Joint Programs Safety Shoe Reimbursement program by processing all reimbursement forms received, communicating denials, and resolving escalated inquires. Maintain and optimize Education Assistance and Safety Shoe reimbursement workflows and records within RIM requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Co-Administer the EA program providing education, training and personal development opportunities to IAM employees
  • Communicate with employees and schools regarding questions and assistance
  • Annual review and update of EA guidelines
  • Validate program eligibility for active and laid off employees
  • Co-Administer courses and schools approved for education assistance funds (each course and/or school is reviewed on a 12–18 month cycle)
  • Review and assess New Course to ensure the course and/or school meets the guidelines, identify if a similar course already is approved
  • Communicate and work with the employee, Career Advisor and the school on approval or denial
  • Work directly with colleges and vendor schools
  • Receive, review and process all incoming applications and reimbursements
  • Ensure all EA Payments are processed and work with schools on any questions
  • Co-Administer the Safety shoe reimbursement process
  • Provide Monthly metrics

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience collecting data, developing metrics, and conducting trend analysis
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • 3+ years of experience coaching and mentoring others
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience creating executive level briefings
  • Experience in a role that required excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Summary Pay Range Experienced (Level 3): $83,300 - $112,700 

Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $104,550 - $141,450
