Your New Role…
As we continue to expand the launch of our new streaming platform, we are looking for an Analytics Instrumentation Staff Analyst to support the execution of our analytics strategy across the experience, focusing on our Connected TV (CTV) devices. This role is responsible for translating business and analytics requirements into detailed, technical documentation and development-ready analytics solutions. You will partner closely with product, development, QA, and data stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality analytics instrumentation across platforms and vendors. The Analytics Instrumentation Staff Analyst supports analytics delivery from requirements through production release, maintains corporate analytics standards, and provides ongoing troubleshooting and optimization support.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Translate analytics and data collection requirements into clear, actionable development tickets supporting core analytics initiatives.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including Solution Design Requirements (SDRs), visual variable maps, requirements translation documents, and implementation guides and vendor-specific documentation (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, comScore, Chartbeat).
- Partner with development and technical teams to assist with problem identification, solution design, and implementation questions.
- Work closely with product teams (developers, scrum masters, and product owners) to actively add, own, groom, and help prioritize analytics user stories.
- Attend cross-functional meetings to represent analytics needs and ensure alignment across teams.
- Perform data validation for analytics tooling (Adobe, Snowplow, comScore, Chartbeat, etc), validating the data collection requirements are met as expressed in the tickets.
- Facilitate the delivery of analytics tracking tickets through the full development lifecycle, from intake through production release.
- Coordinate analytics deployments with development, QA, and product delivery teams.
- Communicate status updates, release information, and changes to data and business stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent tracking across platforms, including variables, scenarios, and vendor implementations.
- Maintain and enforce corporate analytics standards and implementation requirements across vendors and projects.
- Provide troubleshooting support for data collection issues, including investigating data anomalies and answering data-related questions.
- Review, understand, and provide input on analytics test results, including prioritization of fixes and enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience…
- 5+ years experience working in data or tech organizations, supporting large-scale, multiplatform data & analytics implementations
- Translate analytics and data requirements into technical documentation and development tickets
- Hands-on experience with analytics QA, testing methodologies, and production release processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, QA, product, and business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of analytics instrumentation, data validation, and troubleshooting practices
- Experience working with enterprise analytics platforms and vendors (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Comscore, Chartbeat, Snowflake, Snowplow, DBT, etc.)
- Proficient in Atlassian applications (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with agile development processes and analytics user story grooming
- Experience maintaining analytics governance, standards, and documentation at an enterprise level
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $102,550.00 - $190,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
