To be a senior application developer that will join the Manufacturing IT application group and be responsible for designing, developing and releasing software applications that are required within the semiconductor manufacturing , operational and business groups . The applicant will need to be bright, imaginative, and capable developer and work will well within a team environment.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working with IT Applications Project Manager & End customers to determine needs and applying / customizing existing technology to meet those needs
  • Maintaining and supporting multiple projects and deadlines
  • Recording work progress on a weekly basis via Jira Agile
  • Preparing & maintaining technical documentation


SKILLS:

  • Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
  • Ability to develop large scale web/database applications
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly with end customers and project manager
  • Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
  • Ability to construct user guides and documentation
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft .Net technologies


QUALIFICATIONS & RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • A degree or equivalent in IT or computer science
  • Minimum 4+ years experience with enterprise level web application development
  • Experience of working with a Manufacturing Execution Systems would be desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing with the following
    • Microsoft/.NET: C#, .NET MVC, .NET Core, WebApi, Web Forms, Entity Framework, LINQ
    • Databases: MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite
    • Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code,  SVN, NuGet
    • Methodologies: Object-Orientated design, Agile, Scrum
    • Web Services: SOAP, REST
    • Web: JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, DataTables
  • Knowledge and experience of working with one or more of the following operating systems: Windows Server, Redhat Linux, Solaris 10 or OpenVMS.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with one or more of the following scripting methods: Windows Batch, Unix Shell (csh, ksh, bash), Perl & SQL (T-SQL or PL-SQL).
