About the role:

We’re looking for a meticulous and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records across multiple entities. You’ll own key components of the month-end close process, prepare detailed reconciliations, and provide financial reporting that supports operational decision-making.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
  • Support the full month-end close cycle
  • Preparing and posting journal entries for expense accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, non-integrated revenue, leases, and reclasses.
  • Completing detailed account reconciliations and investigating any variances.
  • Preparing balance sheet working papers and reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Reviewing support, coding, and reconciling credit card transactions.
  • Contribute to internal reporting packages and ad hoc reports for the Financial Controller and operational teams.
  • Maintain and document accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new processes or system integrations to improve department efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in both in-person and remote work environments.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and functionality to enhance workflow efficiency, analysis, and reporting accuracy.
