Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the integrity of our financial records, overseeing essential General Ledger functions, managing daily cash operations, and ensuring a seamless month-end and year-end close process.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger

  • Manage daily cash functions, including monitoring bank balances, processing cash receipts, and supporting wire transfers or ACH payments

  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close process

  • Prepare monthly GL and bank account reconciliations

  • Responsible for preparing various monthly standard journal entries

  • Knowledge of asset management to include capitalization, transfers and disposal of assets

  • Support the reconciliation of warehouse inventory

  • Other responsibilities as assigned to support the team


General:

  • Support the quarterly and annual external audit process

  • Assist with the ongoing design, enhancements and compliance with Internal Audit procedures

  • Prepare and review trends and other analytics to aide in management reporting and ensure integrity of the financial records

  • Support the annual re-forecast and budget preparation

  • Other ad-hoc assignments 


Reporting:

  • Maintain monthly lease commitment schedules

  • Prepare annual PA Business Privilege Tax filings

  • Compile information for copyright reporting

  • Compile information for Property Tax filings for multiple states and fiscal periods


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

  • Preferred 2 years of experience in similar role

  • Knowledge of accounting principles

  • Experience with financial packages (preferably Workday Financial Management)

  • Strong excel and word skills

  • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and automation software to optimize accounting workflows and enhance financial reporting integrity

  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude with the ability to work independently

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

    For candidates whose primary place of work will be in Massachusetts, the expected salary range for this position is $ 50 600 Minimum – $ 75 800 Maximum.
    This range represents the annual salary that Breezeline expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and specific work location.
