Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable

About the role:

As the Staff Accountant (Accounts Payable), you will have broad responsibilities across all functions, including exposure to accounting, reporting and analysis. This role is for someone who will work closely with global accounting team by providing assistance to process bills, payments, and other closing tasks. You will work closely with managements and seniors in the accounting and finance team as well as cross-functional leaders throughout the company.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and process bills received from vendors.
  • Be responsible for bills booking in NetSuite.
  • Prepare payments via check and bank transfer.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare closing schedules, expense reports and other AP related tasks.

What you will bring to our team:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Possess certain accounting knowledge, familiar with accrual, prepaid and PPE
  • Familiar with US GAAP is preferred.
  • Good communication skill in English.
  • Teamwork spirit, responsible and practical ability.
  • Good PC skill, familiar with MS office, especially Excel.
  • Amenable to work in mid shift (2pm-11pm PHT)
