This position is responsible for stacking of product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

STACKER LABOR

Shift: 1st

All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

Tasks:

This position is responsible in picking up 40-to-50-pound boxes and stacking them on pallets on a fast-moving production line. 

The skid stacker is also responsible for maintaining the skid stacking data.  Applicants will be considered for any skid stacking type opening on any shift, such as day, evening or night shift as well as overtime and weekends if required.

Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion such as bending and lifting and working above shoulder level.

Pay: $18.90 hour.

Requirements: 

  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends. 

  • Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given. Must be willing to learn other duties. 

  • This facility may run 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday. 

  • Willingness to walk/stand for the duration of the shift. 

  • Willingness to work above shoulder level. 

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Must have good record keeping abilities and keep track of skids produced. 

  • Willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds continuously and place them on pallets.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner

Rehire Consideration:

  • 180 days (6 months) waiting period

  • Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
