The Team: As a member of the WB ESG Product Area, you'll be part of a dynamic environment with strong growth ambitions. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art solutions to retain our status as the wholesale banking leader in financing our clients’ sustainable transition. You'll work within the ESG Area, collaborating with professionals dedicated to operationalizing our sustainability strategy and delivering cutting-edge solutions. Our team focuses on measuring and managing emissions, client engagement plans, ESG-related data, and business intelligence to steer our business.

Your specific area, the ESG emissions, discovers and delivers the products that enable ING Front Office employees to engage with clients and finance their transition towards a sustainable future starting with understanding teh emission of the clients. This involves data analytics, score and frameworks development, as well as workflow tools, delivered in an intuitive way. It’s an ever-growing area where data, algorithms, genAI, legislation, sustainability experts, banking experts, and multi-disciplinary product teams come together to brainstorm, form policies, and deliver products that make the complex ESG world intuitive and set ING as a pioneer in sustainability.

What You Will Do: As a Customer Journey Expert in this area, you will work in a multi-disciplinary product team together with your Product Lead, Designer, Data Analysts, Full Stackers, and Data Engineering. You will also closely collaborate with other PMs and designers in the tribe to enable discovery and design across the entire ESG product area group. We expect you to:

• High-Quality Execution: Prioritize short-term and mid-term initiatives, working closely with your cross-functional team to break down epics into stories, plan refinements, and manage release deliveries.
• Research and Discovery: Work with users, stakeholders, and UX teams to identify, validate, and prioritize problems and opportunities, supporting research and technical discovery efforts.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across design, engineering, and communications to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Engage with design, stakeholders, and users to gather insights, understand pain points, and prioritize features that enhance engagement.
• Launches: Manage product launches, coordinating with go-to-market teams to ensure proper messaging, documentation, and support for all stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Manage and improve the processes we use to deliver ESG data to our users.

What You Bring:

To excel in this role, you should:

• Experience: Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Or even better the willingness to learn!
• Data-Driven: Be data-oriented and willing to dive deep into our ESG platform to improve and automate the main flows of data that fuel our services.
• ESG Passion: Be passionate and knowledgeable about ESG, with a keen understanding of the information and tools our partners within the bank need to steer our sustainability agenda.
• Sustainability Interest: Have a strong interest in sustainability and its role in the investments domain.
• Team Collaboration: Have experience working in a multidisciplinary team with engineers and CJEs/business analysts.
• Business-Tech Bridge: Be able to bridge the gap between business and tech, refining epics, features, and stories that the engineers implement in the app.
• Organizational Skills: Be organized, able to juggle multiple priorities, and combine project management skills with a focus on delivery.
• Adaptability: Enjoy context switching from solving incidents to technical refinement, discussions with partners, and designing new solutions to help our clients.
• Stakeholder Management: Be adept at managing internal and external stakeholders to gather the right input and manage expectations on our roadmap.
• Most Importantly! Be willing to have fun and know how to keep your spirits high, even when things get tough!
