Sr. Workday Solutions Analyst - Extend and PrismJob Description Summary
The Sr. Workday Extend and Prism Architect role is responsible for configuration activities for new functionality and enhancements within Workday’s Extend applications. This role will support Enterprise TDS teams in the design, technical requirement development, and identification of opportunities for application development. Additionally, this role will work with Enterprise teams on building use cases and builds leveraging Prism.Job Description
Workday Configuration
Liaise with the business to understand their needs. Obtain and document technical requirements for all setup values and business processes.
Meetings will occur during the US business day. Ideal candidate will be flexible to align with US working hours. Ideal schedule will be 12/Noon - 7 PM (6:00 AM - 2 PM US EST)
Participate in interactive discussions regarding requirements and possible methods of configuration within Compensation module, including Advanced Compensation.
Build Extend application solutions accountability for all enhancements or break fixes
Develop calculated fields, conditional routing and business processes that support the requirements outlined. Mitigate any opportunities of inaccurate data, business process routing, or impacts to other business areas
Support updates for Workday Extend and Prism when impacted by releases and upgrades
Liaise with Workday support re: requests for new functionality & bug/defect fix support
Understand and document impact of configuration changes to business processes and communicate to HR stakeholders
Support UAT activities by providing input to test cases recommended for configuration changes
Conduct Root Cause Analysis to determine appropriate action plan for break/fix including impacted employees/users/data clean-up
Utilize business knowledge to identify areas of systems improvement opportunity and submit proposals for analysis that lead to recommendations of systems improvements
Provide well thought out and actionable recommendations
Serve as an escalation point (Tier 3) as part of the Service Delivery Model in support of our business partners and general employee population
Maintain change log and design documentation to reflect any changes made to business processes / design post implementation

Technical
Workday Extend development
Workday Prism and Reporting
Workday Integrations knowledge
Workday Finance, HCM and Security knowledge a plus
Advanced skills in MS Teams, MS Excel (V look up and Pivot tables), SmartSheet and other data organization & reporting tools
Operational
Experience with service delivery, evolving the customer experience, process optimization and leveraging new technology solutions
Soft Skills
Works to achieve operational, functional, and/or business targets within team with direct impact on departmental results
Established professional; works under limited supervision
Works independently on moderately complex projects/contracts/facilities/properties/assignments and contributes to setting objectives or goals of projects/contracts/facilities/properties and assignments within team
Excellent customer service skills including timely and well thought-out problem resolution
Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of employees and management
Ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users
Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Qualifications / Experience / Education
4-5 years of Workday configuration experience with a general understanding of all Workday Modules
