Job Description

Change Management – Senior Learning Consultant

This vital learning role focuses on developing impactful employee training. The Senior Learning Consultant works directly with business leaders and colleagues to lead the assessment, development, and delivery of global change learning initiatives supporting Change Management programs. Commitment to high-quality and innovative learning solutions is essential for success in this role. The consultant is responsible for designing and developing accessible, engaging learning solutions that align with strategic change efforts and business objectives.

Major Duties

  • Foster relationships and facilitate discussions with senior management, learning and change consultants, or subject matter experts to translate business requirements into learning and organization development strategies.
  • Create and maintain relevant project management documentation for complex, high-profile learning and organization development initiatives.
  • Design or oversee the design of instructionally sound deliverables using adult learning theories, incorporating engaging activities that reinforce learning objectives.
  • Develop and implement, or oversee the development and implementation of, learning deliverables that support business goals.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of learning deliverables and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Optimize the use of digital learning technologies, including tools and platforms, to meet business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university.
  • Eight to ten years of experience in Learning and Development.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including consulting, rapport building, and trust.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synthesize technical information, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced technical skills, including proficiency with Copilot (how to incorporate AI in learning development), PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Expertise in digital learning technologies, with strong graphic, video, and interaction development skills (such as Articulate 360: Rise, Storyline; Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; Camtasia; Vyond; and other eLearning development tools).
  • Mastery of instructional design concepts, including design, development, facilitation, and evaluation.
  • Experience in project management as it relates to leading training efforts.
  • Understanding of change management concepts and practices preferred; PROSCI certification is ideal.
