WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our Revenue Growth Management team delivers strategy and actionable insights to optimize revenue and drive profitable growth for the company and customers through data and analytics.
As part of the RGM team, the Sr. Trade & Pricing Analyst plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, pricing accuracy, and trade investment effectiveness across key national accounts. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and internal stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights, improve pricing and trade processes, and support strategic decision-making. You will leverage strong analytical capabilities with business acumen to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize pricing and promotional strategies that improve net sales and margin performance.

Annual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Base Salary: $76,000 - $98,000
Note: This range is a national average, but compensation will be reviewed based on geographical location depending on where applicant will be working. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.
Manage pricing setup and governance across national accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems while proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Execute pricing updates and communicate changes clearly to Sales, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimal disruption.
Oversee trade promotion contracts within TPM systems, maintaining data integrity and supporting ongoing updates throughout the promotional lifecycle.
Analyze trade spend, promotional performance, and customer profitability to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for margin improvement.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness through post-event analysis, including ROI, lift, and key performance drivers across customers and channels.
Support annual planning, forecasting, and trade budget management in partnership with Sales and Finance, ensuring alignment to business targets.
Deliver variance analysis (plan vs. actual), translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and tools that enable faster, more informed business decision-making.
Translate complex data into clear insights and storytelling that influence cross-functional partners and support strategic decisions.
Drive process improvements and system optimization, increasing efficiency, standardization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in trade analytics, pricing, sales analytics, finance, or related roles (CPG experience preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Experience in trade promotion management (TPM) systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Blacksmith), and data platforms (Circana, VIP)
Experience and some knowledge of Customer Portals, i.e. DemandTec
Strong business acumen, including understanding of pricing, trade spend, and financial metrics
Ability to communicate insights clearly and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills with experience working with large data sets and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
Excellent diligence and ability to spot discrepancies in large data sets, cross-functional collaboration, financial modeling, or storytelling with data.
Knowledgeable of revenue growth management (RGM) pillars and principles.
Highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.
Ability to manage projects to successful conclusion, operating with high sense of urgency.
Proficient in presenting and sharing content in MS Teams
Ability to travel up to 15%, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments.

Relocation: Relocation Available (when available)
Onsite and Hybrid Rain Makers: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.
