Sr. Test Engineer

Job Description:

• 4+ years of overall QA experience, with 3+ years in automation testing
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language:
  JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks:
  Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or Cypress
• Solid understanding of REST API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with BDD practices and frameworks
• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed test cases.
• Execute test cases (manual) and report defects accurately.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on requirements and designs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation such as Test Plans, Test Scenarios,
• Test Cases, and Test Summary Reports.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the SDLC and STLC.
