Senior Techno-Functional Consultant – ARCHER GRC (Contract | Onsite | English Speaking)

About the Role

New Era Technology is seeking a highly experienced Senior Techno-Functional Consultant – ARCHER GRC to support an onsite client engagement. This is a full-time contract role for a seasoned GRC professional with strong hands-on RSA Archer implementation experience and deep domain knowledge across IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal risk and compliance.

The ideal candidate will bridge business GRC requirements and technical Archer configurations, delivering scalable, secure, and compliant GRC solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Archer GRC Implementation & Configuration
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end RSA Archer GRC implementations across multiple modules.

  • Configure Archer applications including:

    • Advanced workflows, DDEs, notifications, calculated fields

    • Application configuration, access roles, record-level security

  • Manage bulk data operations, Data Feed Manager, and packaging utilities.

  • Perform environment migrations across Dev, Test, and Production environments.

  • Design and optimize reports, dashboards, iViews, and analytics.

  • Integrate Archer with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, SSO, and Active Directory.

  • Perform Archer platform performance tuning and optimization.

GRC Domain Expertise
  • Provide subject-matter expertise across:

    • IT Risk Management, Information Security Compliance, and Audit Management

    • Operational Risk and Third-Party Risk Management

  • Support financial controls and SOX compliance initiatives.

  • Address legal and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, AML, anti-bribery, as applicable).

  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into Archer-based solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with risk, compliance, audit, IT, finance, and legal stakeholders.

  • Gather requirements, conduct workshops, and present functional and technical solutions.

  • Act as the primary onsite Archer GRC advisor for the client.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
    (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 6–10+ years of overall experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

  • 4–6+ years of hands-on experience delivering multi-module RSA Archer GRC implementations.

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).


Must-Have Archer GRC Skills

  • Application configuration and customization

  • Advanced workflows, DDEs, notifications, calculated fields

  • Data Feed Manager and bulk data operations

  • Packaging utility and environment migrations

  • Reporting, dashboards, iViews

  • Record-level access control and role management

  • API integrations (REST/SOAP), SSO, and AD integration

  • Performance optimization and troubleshooting


Technical & Integration Skills

  • Strong SQL fundamentals for reporting and data validation.

  • Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell and/or Python (ETL, data feeds, automation tasks).

  • Good understanding of data modeling concepts.

  • Familiarity with integration of Archer with:

    • SIEM / EDR tools

    • IAM solutions

    • Ticketing / ITSM tools

    • ERP and Finance systems
