What You’ll Do
Samsung Semiconductor is seeking a collaborative, devoted and resourceful full-time recruiter to support hiring across various functions of our business units.
The Senior Technical Recruiter implements and executes high impact recruitment strategies to fill the top of funnel, effectively manages every candidate workflow stage to hire highly qualified candidates for all assigned reqs.

Our Senior Technical Recruiter must have a deep passion to strive for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction and applicant/candidate experience.

  • Provide guidance to hiring managers and Talent team members on sourcing strategies, market insights, and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance recruiting operations and anticipate challenges with proactive solutions.
  • Maintain clear reporting on search progress, pipelines, and metrics; partner with HR on compliance and EEOC reporting.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose Headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy
Reports to: Sr. Manager Recruiting

The Sr. Technical Recruiter acts as a strategic advisor to hiring teams, leading full‑cycle recruiting and deeply understanding technical domains and role requirements. The ideal candidate will drive proactive sourcing, passive pipeline development, and headcount planning aligned with business priorities.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage ~20 requisitions while maintaining strong data integrity and providing clear, data‑driven updates.
  • Advise on immigration and export‑control considerations.
  • Meet individual KPIs and scorecard expectations.

Candidate Experience -

  • Deliver an inclusive, transparent, and timely experience for all candidates throughout the interview process.

Sourcing & Outreach

  • Use creative, cost‑effective sourcing strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Build relationships with technical communities and represent the company at targeted events.

Assessment & Selection

  • Apply consistent, equitable evaluation practices to accurately assess technical and behavioral competencies.

Negotiation & Closing

  • Communicate Samsung Semiconductor’s EVP and craft compelling, fair offers that achieve win‑win outcomes.

Culture & Inclusion

  • Model company cultural principles and support diversity hiring initiatives to build strong, inclusive pipelines.

What You Bring

Basic Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including technical recruiting for engineering or product teams.
  • Proven success sourcing and engaging passive technical talent across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Experience managing a high‑volume or complex requisition load while maintaining strong candidate and stakeholder communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and hiring processes.
  • Experience using ATS and sourcing tools (e.g., Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of technical recruiting experience in fast‑paced or high‑growth environments.
  • Experience recruiting for semiconductor, hardware, systems, or deep‑tech engineering roles.
  • Experience advising on immigration, export‑control, or other compliance‑related hiring considerations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and influence decisions.
  • Experience representing an organization at industry events, conferences, or university engagements.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range
$141,000$219,000 USD
