What you will do in this role

In everything we do, we believe in doing right by and for people – our clients, their customers, our people, our community, and our planet.

1. Corporate Taxation: Managing annual filing of tax returns and tax audit. Provide advisory on day-to-day basis from compliance and tax planning perspective. Managing assessment proceedings and support in litigation management.  

2. Transfer Pricing: Coordination for TP study & certification, periodic review of TP margins, internal transfer pricing documentation, advising on structuring of arrangements and TP assessments and litigation. 

3. Tax planning and structuring: Exploring and executing tax planning options to optimize the Group's effective tax rate.

4. Tax accounting, audit and risk assessment: Managing tax accounting including current tax and deferred tax adjustments. Working closely with statutory auditors for direct tax related matters. Periodic risk assessment of open tax matters and adjustments in tax provisioning.  

5. US Tax accounting and reporting:  Review of the tax positions adopted from ASC 740 perspective (FIN 48) and analyse the need for FIN 48 reserve and quantify the same. SoX reporting and compliance.

6. Change management: Updating the Key management & finance team on the recent developments and changes in the laws, Periodic trainings of finance teams to ensure strict compliance of direct tax laws.

7. WHT Compliances: Reviewing and managing the WHT compliances to ensure strict compliance, day-to-day advisory on WHT related matters.

8. Review of GST returns viz. GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, computation of RCM and supporting the cross functional teams on GST queries from time to time.

Concentrix is a great match if you:

• Preferably Chartered Accountant / Semi-qualified CA with Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• 4+ years of relevant experience in US Taxation and Tax Accounting, ideally with a multinational company

• Experience with one of the Big4 CA firms will be a plus.

• Knowledge of US federal and state compliance, ASC 740 provision reporting requirements.

• Exposure in Corptax and Thomson Reuters OTP will be highly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
