We are offering an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist interested in building a career with a Corporate People Operations Team!

Primary Responsibilities

Talent Advisory

  • Partner with business leaders to develop talent acquisition practices, processes, and systems.
  • Understand what is happening in and outside the organization and bring that information to the business to help Leaders make better talent decisions.
  • Anticipate future talent needs and work to develop pools of passive candidates to fill vacancies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and candidate “must haves” and draft job descriptions.
  • Provide candid and thoughtful feedback to Hiring Managers about themselves and the candidates they are interviewing to help them add the right talent to their team.
  • Work closely with business leaders to influence effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback.

Sourcing

  • Source candidates utilizing online job boards, social media, LinkedIn & online searches, industry contacts, professional networks, etc.
  • Engage with active and passive talent and connect them to current job opportunities.
  • Prescreen candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders

Brand Awareness

  • Collaborate with marketing, human resources and business leaders to establish an employer brand identity.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, colleges, vendors, associations, and other bodies who might route talent to the organization or aid in TA processes.

Workflow & Process

  • Manage candidate expectations and engage talent throughout the hiring process.
  • Track and report on talent acquisition metrics
  • Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices.
  • Oversee the completion of various talent acquisition projects and initiatives.

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related degree, plus a minimum of three years of work experience.
  • Strong construction recruitment experience, preferred.
  • Strong follow-through skills to effectively manage all responsibilities and partnerships with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent time management & initiative skillset to get job done effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Strong and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick effective decisions.
  • Advanced PC skills with experience in Microsoft office products.
