Job Description

This position is responsible for daily supply chain activities in the Ackerman Warehouse areas to include forecasting, requisitioning, inventory control, and implant/consignment management, while utilizing lean supply chain practices. Manages case picking of supplies and collaborates with supply chain and clinical staff to maintain accuracy of supplies being ordered and shipped from the warehouse. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of supplies being added into the system and being shipped to multiples areas within the health system. Communicates with clinical and supply chain staff, and vendors regarding supply chain issues, including but not limited to, expiration tracking, cycle counting, annual physical inventory, Lum picking (lowest unit of measure), product trials, product conversions, product discontinuations, storage location flow and overall organization. Receive and put away supplies in racks and manage first in- first out (FIFO) workflow. Must learn how to operate heavy equipment including forklift, wave picker, manual and powered pallet jacks. Ensures accreditation and audit processes are maintained in accordance with current standards. Proactively monitors, investigates, and resolves charge capture errors to prevent supply shortages, stockouts, and missed revenue. Works with clinical and other supply chain staff to investigate new items and equipment, providing valid data analysis related to cost savings, volume, and other metrics.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and two years of inventory management experience.
