Your Role

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our Competitive Business Unit, where you'll be a key leader focused on our most critical business relationships with leagues, state associations, and third-party organizations. This senior position is pivotal in shaping the future of our partnership strategy, particularly within the club sports ecosystem for Soccer, Volleyball, Hockey, and Facilities. You will manage and deepen existing high-level relationships while developing the long-term strategic vision to drive partnership evolution and unlock new value for Hudl.

As a Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, you’ll:

  • Own the partnership strategy and vision. You'll develop and implement long-term business plans and strategies, focusing on market evolution and positioning within the youth and club sports market. You will also be responsible for making data-driven recommendations to develop new programs and improve existing ones.
  • Lead complex negotiations and relationship management. Drive complex contract negotiations from inception to execution, while using your advanced negotiation skills to influence C-suite executives and manage sales conversations with senior-level executives. You'll manage your assigned partner portfolio through the entire life cycle, ensuring all deliverables are executed and mutually beneficial.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and revenue growth. Act as a team player by collaborating and influencing decisions across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to unlock new value. You will build a roadmap that delivers top-line revenue growth, margin, and industry innovation for your portfolio.

Our priority is to hire someone for this role who lives near our office in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.

Must-Haves

  • Experienced in partnership leadership. You have 10–20+ years of work experience in Partnership Sales, Relationship Management, or Promotions in a Company/Corporation/Team or with an Agency working across Club Sports in the North America Market.
  • Contract expertise. You have proven expertise in contract development and leading complex negotiations from inception to execution.
  • A persuasive communicator. You’re a capable and persuasive communicator and negotiator who can make arguments clearly and succinctly, with top-notch presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences.
  • Deep market knowledge. You possess a deep understanding of the youth and club sports market and have experience in development and implementation of long-term business plans and strategies.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Networked in club sports. You have a strong existing network of relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Technically savvy. You have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Analytical focus. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using quantitative analysis and large data sets to inform recommendations and strategies.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is displayed below—starting salaries will typically fall near the middle of this range.

We make compensation decisions based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices.

Any bonuses awarded are based on individual and company performance paid at Hudl's discretion.
