What you will do:
We are seeking a skilled Sr SQA Engineer with strong expertise in networking, gateway connectivity, and automation frameworks. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for connected systems, including gateways, networked panels, and proprietary communication protocols.
How you will do it:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C#/Python/Java.
Implement unit tests using frameworks such as XUnit or NUnit.
Design and execute functional and integration tests for gateway connectivity and networked panels.
Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into build processes.
Analyze and troubleshoot communication issues using Wireshark and custom dissectors.
Validate data exchange over TCP/IP, UDP, and proprietary protocols (N3, eN3, eSlave).
Collaborate with embedded networking teams to ensure protocol compliance and system reliability.
Document test cases, results, and provide detailed defect reports.
What we look for:
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of Strong programming skills in C#, Python, or Java.
Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (XUnit, NUnit).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, ports).
Experience with Wireshark and custom protocol dissectors.
Exposure to proprietary protocols (N3, eN3, eSlave) or similar.
Ability to analyze and debug complex network communication issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with embedded systems testing.
Knowledge of additional communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, etc.).
ISTQB or similar testing certification.
Networking certifications (CCNA basics) are a plus.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - 118,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
