Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior SAP Information Steward.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, qualifying, analyzing, and maintaining accurate master data, including all relevant objects, views, and fields within the function. You will work closely with Operational and Information Stewards to resolve SAP master data issues.

You will also manage the Material Introduction process at our company’s Dundalk site. Your work will help ensure we meet our company’s standards for compliance, safety, and reliable supply to customers.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Serve as an expert in SAP, employing MPS (Operational Excellence) and Enterprise Process Management principles to enhance problem-solving and process design.
  • Deliver end-user training tailored to audience analysis.
  • Oversee the Material Introduction Process at our company in Dundalk ensuring all materials are approved for use in compliance with site and global procedures.
  • Ensure master data is current and meets business needs across various functions (QM, MH, PE, FBM, Costing, OTC). Perform timely updates, eliminate duplicates, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review master data forms for accuracy, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained and addressing client inquiries related to processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the Supply Chain Working Group to ensure intercompany materials are created, approved, and shipped to our company effectively.
  • Monitor data compliance with global and local standards, analyzing reports to ensure synchronization.
  • Manage the Change Control process, including pre-approval, execution, and post-approval activities, ensuring compliance with SOP and SAP standards.
  • Review and approve Material Introduction and SAP documentation in line with approval processes, including SOPs, WIs, training documents, and change controls.
  • Maintain process documentation and metrics related to SAP. Participate in the Community of Practice and collaborate with SAP global groups to drive business objectives.
  • Manage SAP master data in collaboration with Global and Regional Process Stewards while consulting with our manufacturing division IT and GTS to minimize system downtime.
  • Identify and implement technology-driven productivity enhancements, focusing on reducing costs and maintaining process consistency.
  • Foster empowered teams to achieve site mission and goals, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of process systems in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Support all quality and safety initiatives and drive compliance with our company’s Global Policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively to promote a safe and compliant culture within the our company in Dundalk site.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher; ideally in a Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fully proficient in SAP.
  • Relevant experience ideally in a manufacturing, preferably GMP setting.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for Irish, European, and international standards.
  • Ability to author reports, standards, and policies; familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
