Title and Summary
Sr. Specialist, Product Management and Strategy
Overview:
The Sr. Specialist, Network Products will support the development and evolution of innovative services across Mastercard’s global core payments network, with a focus on Network Products testing and onboarding tools.
This role is commercially and strategy oriented, supporting portfolio initiatives through strong data-driven analysis, financial modeling, and business case development. The successful candidate will contribute to problem definition, evaluate solution options, assess commercial and customer impact, and support execution of strategic initiatives across the network products ecosystem.
The role requires strong business and market understanding, along with the ability to develop working knowledge of system architecture, platform capabilities, and technical constraints across network testing and onboarding platforms. The candidate will help evaluate business needs, assess cost and revenue implications, support transition planning as products evolve toward modern delivery models, and contribute to leadership decision-making through strong analytical insights and executive-ready materials.
This role will collaborate closely with product teams, technology teams, regional market-facing teams, customer delivery teams, and other internal business partners to support solution development, customer adoption, and successful rollout of network product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support strategy initiatives across Network Products testing and onboarding tools portfolio
• Perform commercial and financial analysis to evaluate product evolution scenarios and platform transitions
• Support evaluation of revenue opportunities, cost structures, and potential revenue cannibalization risks
• Contribute to business case development and long-term portfolio planning materials
• Partner with product and regional teams to understand customer needs, adoption drivers, and regional differences
• Support analysis of customer behavior, usage trends, and adoption patterns
• Support development of commercialization recommendations including packaging, pricing considerations, and transition planning
• Perform structured data analysis to size opportunities and quantify business impact
• Support revenue forecasting inputs and cost-benefit analysis for product initiatives
• Build financial models and scenario analyses using Excel to support leadership decision-making
• Support vendor contract and license utilization analysis
• Support cost tracking, maintenance planning, and professional services planning
• Assist in preparation of vendor strategy and leadership update materials
• Develop executive-ready presentations, strategy decks, and business case materials
• Translate complex technical and business analysis into clear, compelling narratives
• Support leadership presentations and cross-functional alignment discussions
• Support analysis of platform transitions and future-state product evolution
• Assist in evaluating commercial and operational implications of modernization initiatives
• Support internal and customer transition readiness planning
The Candidate
• Prior experience in payments, fintech, network products, or enterprise platform environments preferred
• Experience supporting product strategy, commercialization analysis, or portfolio analysis is a plus
• Experience working with cross-functional product and technology teams preferred
• Strong Excel skills including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data analysis
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into business recommendations
• Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to build executive-ready strategy decks
• Strong data visualization and storytelling capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset
• Ability to build relationships across product, technology, and business teams
• Ability to support discussions with senior stakeholders with appropriate guidance
