The Difference You Make:
The Sr. Specialist, Investment Operations & Business Administration is responsible for supporting relationship management teams through processing various administrative and operational activities related to client investment, banking and fiduciary and advisory products. If in Investments Operations the incumbent executes client account servicing activities as requested by partners within appropriate time frames, including but not limited to the processing of wires and fund transfers, bill payment, cash movement, gift processing, updating client databases, preparing required documentation, opening and closing accounts, meeting preparation, maintenance of accurate and complete account records, imaging of documents, and researching of client issues. The Sr. Specialist, because of their business acumen may collaborate with the broader team on complex transactions. If in Business Administration, this role will be responsible for financial consultant (FC) cluster changes, FC account assignment changes, onboarding, calendar management, maintain documentary files for FINRA OSJ requirements, manage and escalate mandatory CE delinquencies, manage and escalate training delinquencies, manage schedules for Field Management, partner scheduling, and branch visit calendar

  • Ops & BA -Collaborates and contributes to all Regulatory Audit Requests.
  • Ops & BA- Formulates a strong understanding of required steps involved with each request, communicating with relationship management and operations teams as appropriate to obtain necessary information to properly execute the requested activity.
  • Ops- Ensures all SLA’s for Trade Support have been adhered to.
  • Ops- Develops and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external contacts to promote expeditious trade problem resolution.
  • Ops- Evaluates and approves new accounts and various compliance/operations forms.
  • Ops- Reviews and approves trade corrections and report management.
  • Ops- Assists with accounts movement between advisors including retail account movement, direct mutual fund movement, annuity agent changes, service center document movement, CRM contact merges, household ownership change, GPM movement.
  • BA- Coordinates and monitors training for new associates.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent. - Preferred.
  • Other: Other in Investment Industry - Required.
  • 3+ Years Experience in Investment Industry either in Operations, Back Office support or field Financial Consulting or equivalent. - Required.
  • Good understanding of equity, fixed income and cash investments .
  • Demonstrates thoroughness and accuracy in work completed.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing work requirements.
  • Team player that is able to learn other operations.
  • High personal standards of conduct and integrity.

Certifications:

  • FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): Ops team FINRA 7 and 66 and Life and Health insurances required - Required.
  • BA (Business Analysis Certification): - Preferred.

It Would Be Nice For You To Have:

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$50,625.00 USD

Maximum:

$85,000.00 USD
