The Sr. Payroll Specialist is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of payroll. Ensuring timely processing and compliance to standard payroll processes of assigned account/s. You will perform inquiry management/resolution, transaction processing and general customer service.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory and tax payments, ensuring accurate and timely employee payroll
Collate data from Workday and non-Workday sources and release payroll files and instructions to local payroll vendors
Review, validate, and confirm payroll results received from local country payroll vendors
Coordinate closely with payroll vendors on processing, reporting, system upgrades, and statutory/legal changes
Address employee payroll inquiries and issues promptly and accurately
Maintain and update payroll documentation and tools (e.g., country manuals, wage types, process flows, calendars)
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Treasury, etc.) to finalize payroll, support bank file processing, and drive cross-country process improvements
What you will bring - Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related discipline required
• 3 - 5 years payroll experience, HR Shared Services background preferred
• Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures for assigned countries
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
• Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software (excel) and ideally having worked with multiple technologies (e.g. HRIS System, Workday, SAP)
• Strong drive for results, accuracy and control compliance
• The ability to use initiative and be proactive in anticipating problems which may occur
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Skilled in developing professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and peers
• High degree of process orientation and improvement mindset
• Above average communications skills and customer service orientation
Job Requirements:
Full-time employment
Onsite work setup; once a week work-from-home after 3 months
Work Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)
Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
