Latrobe Specialty Metals Distribution (LSD) – located in Vienna, Ohio is part of the Carpenter Technology Corporation organization, serves North America’s tooling customers with the broadest range of products, the most extensive value-added services, and unmatched metallurgical expertise in the industry. With locations in the US and Canada, LSD inventories more than 60 specialty alloys for some of the most demanding applications. Extensive value-added capabilities include production sawing, CNC high-speed precision sawing, CNC lathe turning, milling, grinding, heat treating, and hollow boring.
TITLE: SR. SPECIAL ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SR. SPECIAL ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
- Manage an existing sustained customer base with a minimum sustained territory size of $10 million up to $30 million.
- Territory will include strategic and platinum accounts.
- Generates a minimum of 5% new profitable sales each fiscal year.
- Spends up to 25% of time focusing on growth through new & existing customers via new and existing products.
- Manages time and territory in conjunction with manager on a monthly basis.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED FOR THE SR. SPECIAL ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
- Four-year college degree in Marketing or related discipline is preferred. High School Diploma required.
- 10+ years of sales/relationship management experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient knowledge of markets and pricing practices/policies.
- Ability to be flexible and organized when faced with frequently changing priorities.
- Strong goal and results orientation; high energy, high impact.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills. Strong quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills and demonstrate candor and openness to viewpoints of others.
