Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Global Serialization (Professional III)
The Sr. Specialist, Global Serialization ensures compliance with global serialization regulations across manufacturing and supply chain networks. This role serves as a subject matter expert for serialization solutions and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and Labeling.
· Manage daily activities for Baxter’s global serialization portfolio.
· Support the assessment of new regulations and changes to existing requirements.
· Lead small cross-functional projects to support compliance.
· Resolve complex issues by engaging appropriate resources.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
· Support manufacturing sites in maintaining serialization standards.
· Act as escalation point to external software vendors.
· Analyze data, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
· Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
· Develop, collect and improve key performance indicators.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Independent problem-solving and creative thinking.
· Business acumen and negotiation skills.
· Knowledge of serialization and compliance disciplines.
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Experience providing operational and administrative support for projects in the medical products or pharmaceutical field for 3+ years.
· Experience with validation/qualification and multi-site initiatives.
· Demonstrated familiarity with Systech and Optel serialization platforms (Levels 1–3).
