Senior Specialist – Investor Relations

The Senior Specialist, Investor Relations plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Investor Relations (IR) team, ensuring accurate, timely and well-organized execution of core processes. Key responsibilities (further detailed below) include managing a detailed analyst consensus model, maintaining the IR website and related materials, and supporting the planning and execution of investment community engagement activities. The role requires strong organizational discipline, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The position supports time-sensitive, high-visibility workstreams and works closely with colleagues across the Company, including executive and senior management.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop deep insight into the Company’s strategy, performance, pipeline, and external investor narrative, while building strong financial, analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills within a highly visible function. Where possible, the candidate will help in developing key company messages used by senior leaders and the IR team in interactions with the investment community.

A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to prioritize effectively, anticipate needs, and drive tasks to completion while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. The role operates in a deadline-driven setting with competing priorities, often with limited lead time and evolving inputs. During peak periods (e.g. earnings cycles, major medical meetings, broker conferences, and business development transactions), the role requires extended work hours and responsiveness outside standard business hours.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the maintenance, updating, quality control, and continuous improvement of the detailed analyst consensus model, including full P&L and product-level revenue forecasts

  • Provide detailed analyst consensus reports to IR colleagues, senior management, and other commercial, finance, and accounting stakeholders at regular intervals and ad hoc throughout the year

  • Independently manage and execute multiple workstreams for the quarterly earnings process, including, but not limited to:

    • Support preparation of IR and executive prep materials

    • Help develop and maintain IR materials including pipeline milestones trackers and presentation slides

    • Coordinate cross-functional inputs

    • Manage timely publishing of materials to IR website on earnings day

    • Identify opportunities to improve the earnings process, among other deliverables

  • Draft materials in support of Board of Directors’ meetings including analysis of our company's stock price performance and forward price/earnings ratio, summary of peer companies’ quarterly earnings, analysis of our company's institutional shareholders, and recent research analyst reports

  • Perform financial analysis and competitive company analysis assignments for IR team and senior management

  • Create and maintain IR slide presentations including investor resources, medical meeting and investor conference slides, and other ad hoc projects

  • Prepare Total Shareholder Return calculations on behalf of Corporate Financial Services

  • Prepare summaries of and circulate relevant research analyst reports among IR team and other commercial, finance, and research stakeholders

  • Take detailed notes on investor meetings and other non-transcribed events

  • Manage and maximize the potential of the IR Website by working with our company's external vendor and communications team to post IR materials, resources, and events that will help investors better understand the Company

  • Understand business and clinical results and help formulate proactive messaging to be used in investor and analyst interactions and the drafting of reactive Q&A in support of IR meetings/events

 

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business-related role

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality results and meeting strict deadlines

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial and analytical outputs

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently plan, track, and drive work to completion

  • Ability to work independently and be decisive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to collaborate well in a team environment and foster professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, preferred experience working with PowerBI

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$96,200.00 - $151,400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
