What You’ll Be Doing

This Senior Solutions Design Consultant role in the Digital and Customer Experience Technology group, specifically within the Contact Center Technology team, is responsible for leading the design of Contact Center solutions. The consultant guides the functional design of systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs. This role emphasizes expertise in Contact Center technologies and collaboration with stakeholders to define and shape solution architecture. The role provides technical leadership by defining precise steps and processing logic across multiple platforms, ensuring that specifications meet business requirements. Additionally, the consultant offers senior-level technical guidance to IT management and technical teams, supporting complex decision-making and driving innovation in technology selection, especially when requirements are not fully defined.

The Senior Solutions Design Consultant, is responsible for leading the design and development of application systems across the organization’s technology landscape. This role focuses on translating business and user requirements into robust application solutions, overseeing the development lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact systems. The consultant also evaluates emerging technologies to enhance application performance and scalability.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Strategic Development & Execution: Perform and coordinate complex solution design activities. Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations. Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency. 
  • Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions. Support and mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate 8-10+ years’ experience in. designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications with expertise in most of the following: Contact Center IP Telephony, Voice, Chat, Call Recording, workforce Management systems like VMWare, Genesys, Verint, Cisco Call Manager etc , Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, AWS), ETL (Informatica, SSIS), and Tools (Tools: source control/issue management: Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps)
