Project Description

Shape the future of travel! Have you ever wondered how airlines price their tickets? We are building the Continuous Revenue Optimizer – a cutting-edge platform that completely transforms how airlines sell seats. We are moving the industry away from old-school, rigid pricing into a modern, flexible e-commerce experience based on Offers and Orders.

Using advanced AI and Machine Learning, our system analyzes massive amounts of real-time shopping and booking data to predict demand and dynamically price every single seat. Simply put: we help airlines offer the right price, at the right time, to the right traveler—operating at a massive global scale. In this role, you will design and build the highly scalable cloud solutions that make this magic happen.

What You Will Do

• Build the Future: Develop, code, test, and debug new complex software solutions and critical enhancements for the product.
• Innovate & Architect: Design, plan, develop, and improve high-availability applications using both routine and highly advanced technologies.
• Solve Complex Challenges: Work on intricate issues where the analysis of vast datasets and situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implement strategic policies when selecting technical methods and techniques.
• Drive Excellence & Quality: Encourage and enforce high coding standards, championing best practices and ensuring top-tier software quality across the board through rigorous testing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate & Influence: Regularly interact with subordinate supervisors, architects and product managers on matters concerning projects and team performance. Use your expertise to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations – all while building strong, collaborative relationships.
• Lead & Mentor: Provide technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to engineering teams.
• Share the Vision: Provide larger business and product context, mentoring peers on modern technologies to foster continuous growth.

What You Bring

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience in software engineering.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications.
• Agile Mindset: Proven experience in fast-paced Software Development within an Agile environment.
• Quality First Mindset: Deep commitment to software quality with hands-on experience in various testing methodologies (including unit, integration, end-to-end, and automated testing frameworks).
• GenAI Fluency: High proficiency in leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) tools to accelerate coding, optimize workflows, and boost daily productivity.
• Technologies You Should Know:
  • Strong programming expertise in Java and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets using Google BigQuery (BQ) and Apache Spark.
• Bonus Points: Familiarity with React is highly welcome!
• Analytical Prowess: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to transform complex business rules into elegant code.
• Communication: Proficient English, both written and verbal, allowing for seamless global collaboration.
• Attitude: Self-disciplined, highly commitment-oriented, and ready to take ownership of your work.
