The Role:
We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle for a suite of customer applications utilizing various customer technology platforms. On Premises SharePoint will be the focus of this role requiring on-premises development experience as well as experience developing in SharePoint Online A passion for performance, strong desire for quality conformance, and attention to detail are prerequisites for this position.
The Senior SharePoint Developer at STS will support the below tasks:
Development and Integration Tasks – provide services including creating, expanding, enhancing, updating and potentially modernizing business applications to meet the evolving requirements.
- Design solutions to meet business objectives and end-user requirements, and incorporate appropriate success metrics
- Implement role-based identity management, authorization, and authentication across applications
- Provide secure mechanisms to allow for data exchange with external systems through APIs or other methods
- Develop and maintain a solution architecture for supporting an enterprise-wide, multi-org SharePoint ecosystem that accounts for functional overlap and reuse of objects or utilities
- Create and maintain workflows using Nintex Workflows.
Data Management and Security Tasks - create and maintain SharePoint data structures, import/export capabilities, and security features to fully meet EOP data management and access requirements
- Providing expertise and execution for required data warehousing, data migration, data visualization, and business intelligence best practices to inform data architecture and mapping strategies
- Ensuring data security at rest and in transit, working with third party encryption gateway technologies as required
- Supporting security team in the creation and adherence to policies/procedures regarding data implementation and the mitigation of security vulnerabilities
- Supporting data integration and orchestration services between SharePoint and other systems of record or data warehouses
End-User Support Tasks - provide services including high quality end-user support to include education, troubleshooting, and help desk tier 3 level support.
- Developing and maintaining reference documentation (i.e. user guides, process flow diagrams, or other materials) to assist in troubleshooting problems and resolving outages quickly.
- Providing role-based educational materials for users to become proficient in the business applications, including content creation, content maintenance, review and approval processes, and knowledge management
Program Management Tasks - provide input to programmatic oversight for projects and recurring activities required
- Provide input to periodic program, project, and operational status updates on an agreed-upon schedule
- Provide input to project and operational documentation as required to support specific project deliverables or processes (including Authority to Operate)
- Provide input to strategic roadmaps, executive-level briefings, managing new request intake, attending relevant stakeholder meetings, and license management
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years experience in SharePoint Application Development
- 3 years experience SharePoint Administration
- 3 years programming experience using C# & SQL
- Demonstrated Solution Architecture experience
- Demonstrated Data Management experience
- Experience with Nintex Workflows
- Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
