Meet the team:

The Dexcom New Zealand team is seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join our high-performing, collaborative culture. As a Staff Trainer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Sales Training function and meeting the learning needs of all sales teams across New Zealand. This includes leading assigned projects and contributing to broader departmental initiatives. You’ll be involved in developing and delivering training programmes that empower our sales professionals, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure training aligns with business priorities. Collaboration and adaptability are essential, as you’ll partner across teams to deliver impactful learning experiences that drive success.

Where you come in:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in sales coaching and feedback
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of training programs on assigned projects such as onboarding, sales meetings, product launches, training tools and resources impacting the sales organisation
  • Facilitate in-person or virtual delivery of new hire and advanced sales training programs designed to accelerate core knowledge and skill mastery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs, formulate recommendations, update training curriculum, and develop sales training plans and programs

  • You are organized and efficient at delivering during high volume work cycles 
  • You are willing to travel to support internal client groups and attend meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-person and virtual facilitation experience and software competency
  • Prior hands-on experience developing and delivering sales training
  • Previous diabetes-related medical and/or pharma sales experience with a track record of sales success  
  • Language skills; must be able to communicate effectively in English.
