(Sr.) Reliability Manager - GaN (m/f/d)

About the role

As (Sr.) Reliability Manager (m/f/d), you will work within the GaN R&D team, playing a critical role ensuring the reliability and durability of our GaN products by conducting testing, analysing failures, optimising designs, and processes, and providing valuable insights to enhance the overall performance of our technology.

In this critical leadership position, you will take ownership for all reliability aspects of the GaN devices, and be accountable for achieving R&D goals in line with technology roadmaps.

This is your new job

  • Define a path and work plans to achieve the required product reliability level

  • Coach, mentor, manage, and recruit team members

  • Influence all GaN technology development activities, in particular from a reliability perspective

  • Carry out product testing and analysis related to device reliability

  • Enable capabilities development plans (people, equipment, etc.) to meet the technology roadmap

  • Cooperate with various stakeholders across the company

  • Influence GaN strategic decision-making

This is you

  • PhD or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline

  • In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices, ideally wide band gap GaN HEMTs, with experience working within GaN reliability preferred

  • Proven track record of accomplishment in an engineering or technology management role

  • Strong data analysis skills (JMP, MATLAB, Minitab, etc.) 

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and to influence stakeholders at all levels
