Role Overview
Synechron is seeking a React Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern, scalable web applications. The role requires strong hands-on React expertise, technical leadership, and close collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of React-based web applications.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of React developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
- Ensure adherence to high-quality coding standards, security guidelines, and performance optimization best practices.
- Drive frontend architecture decisions and ensure scalability and maintainability of solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest React trends, tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
- Extensive hands-on experience in developing web applications using React and Redux.
- Strong understanding of React Hooks, Context API, and exposure to React Native.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with Node.js, npm/yarn packages, and frontend build tools.
- Strong experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, or similar.
- Good understanding of frontend security, performance optimization, and browser compatibility.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.
- Proven experience leading frontend initiatives or mentoring React development teams.
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced development environments.
- Strong exposure to cross-functional collaboration with design, product, and backend teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performing React applications.
- Mentor junior developers on React best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
- Partner with product and design teams to translate requirements into intuitive UI solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant frontend or web development certifications will be an added advantage.
