What You Will Do
We’re hiring a Quality Engineer to support our OE manufacturing customers. This role is based at the plant level and reports to the Quality Manager within the Manufacturing Division. It is a hands-on position focused on designing, developing, and implementing test and statistical process control procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
What the Group Does
The Quality team ensures that Clarios manufacturing processes meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the group plays a critical role in safeguarding product reliability, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational excellence. This position is vital to maintaining customer trust, reducing defects, and aligning with lean manufacturing principles.
What Does Success Look Like
Provide day-to-day quality assurance support by analyzing production data and refining methods.
Develop and implement SPC-based testing, sampling, and inspection standards to ensure compliance.
Conduct audits, generate findings reports, and drive corrective/preventative actions.
Partner with internal customers and suppliers to track, report, and improve quality metrics.
Lead training sessions and develop materials to strengthen quality control practices.
Champion special projects and apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to drive measurable improvements.
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of core quality tools (MSA, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans).
Proficiency in Excel and Access, with ability to develop databases.
Preferred
Experience in ISO/TS-16949 environments.
Certified Internal TS Auditor, Green Belt/Black Belt, or CQE/CQA credentials.
Project management experience and plant manufacturing background.
Strong communication skills with ability to travel up to 25%.
