What You’ll Do

  • Perform quality control activities to ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements, including FDA and BRC compliance.
  • Conduct in-line checks, environmental swabbing, allergen cleaning verifications, calibrations, and routine facility inspections.
  • Identify, escalate, and support investigations of non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and support audits, CAPA execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor sanitation, pest control, food defense, and chemical controls, partnering closely with Production and plant leadership.
  • Serve as a key member of the Food Safety/HACCP team and support training and quality knowledge across operations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Three or more years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience in food, beverage, or dietary supplement manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP principles, and quality documentation requirements.
  • Ability to work independently, advocate for quality standards, and escalate concerns when needed.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and related quality systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, sitting, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to complete all physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequent exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor environments.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and elevated work areas.
  • Moderate noise levels in a production-focused manufacturing environment.
